(Furst Romancier/Liberty Gold/Argentan)
Furst Diamante, or "Monty" as she is known around the barn, is a beloved member of the F5B broodmare herd and far and away has the most sensible and loving temperament of any of our horses. Furst Diamante is by the great stallion Furst Romancier and is out of our foundation broodmare EM Lucette. Furst Diamante has most definitely inherited her sire's desirable long lines, correct conformation, and extremely elastic movement. We believe she is a very valuable addition to our program and are very excited to meet her first foal crop in 2020.
Furst Diamante's outstanding breeding makes her an exceptional broodmare candidate, as her lineage reads like the "Who's who" of international dressage. Her sire, Furst Romancier is known to an exceptional producer of upper level offspring and sired the champion stallion of the Oldenburg licensing, For Romance, who was auctioned for a sensational price of 750,000 Euro, as well as another premium stallion who as sold to the State Stud Celle for 170,000 Euro.
Fürst Romancier himself was main premium winner and became the most successful stallion in his age group at the World Championship for Five Year-Old Dressage Horses in 2009. At the Bundeschampionat he placed second in the qualifier with a score of 9.0 and fourth again in the World Championship for Dressage Horses. In his stallion performance test, he received top scores (all higher than 9.0) for his basic gaits as well as 9.5 for rideability. He has extremely elastic movement with a high degree of impulsion. A dressage stallion in a class of his own! Sire Furst Heinrich was himself crowned World Champion as a five year old in 2003. With an above average breeding index of 160 points he is ranked as one of the leading dressage sires in the German Federation’s breeding evaluation.
Fürst Romancier also descends from one of the most successful Oldenburg mare lines: the Edoste. Numerous licensed stallions emerged from this line such as the National Champion and European championship participant Exupéry as well as reserve national champion Landjuwel Gold, the Olympic horse Petit Prince, Grand Prix winner Avignon in addition to numerous advanced dressage horses.
Furst Diamante's dam, EM Lucette has never failed to disappoint us with her beautiful foals and has been an exceptionally consistent producer of quality horses. However, there is no doubt the Furst Diamante is one of her finest and we are very excited to see how she continues to develop.
